Job Description

The Market Research Executive shall collaborate with the International projects teams, marketing department, sales organization as well as other stakeholders to ensure successful coordination and controlling of International Projects (IP) selection process, market research and other marketing tasks such as campaigns, exhibitions, customer relation and opportunity management and business development in general.

Key Responsibilities:



The Market Research Executive is responsible for the following main tasks:

Market Research:


Gathering information about target markets and customers;
Conduct research by calling all new companies to create records with all necessary information
Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data from internal and external sources (such as meetings, surveys, interviews questionnaires), or arrange to obtain existing data
Perform extensive primary and secondary research to build a detailed understanding of our companys current and future market potential
Extract, Manipulate, Interpret and Analyze Data from all sources both online and offline
Liaising with sales teams to ensure data collection is progressing as per research plan

Business Development:

Develop and maintain customer databases including customer structure, particularly for end users, but also for OEMs and engineering companies identifying customer / product type. Activities mainly linked to affiliates of EBME, EBKSA and EBTR focusing on;
Customer mapping
Opportunity identification
Coordinating with different departments in the  group to collect and analyze data related to the region

International Projects (IP):

Within the IP areas, Middle East, Emerging Markets and Europe, maintain the projects database ensuring that the initial process for determining project relevance, strategic importance, lead identification, blue sheet strategy and initial business plan approval are delivered;
Support and drive the implementation of project selection process
Information on project announcements
Prepare project analysis
Database management (ePro markets, ePro, Navision, )

Data base management:

Managing the following data base subject to above mentioned tasks including but not limited to;
ePro markets
ePro
Navision (focus portfolio management)
C4C (CRM)
Develop and maintain a projects database ensuring that the initial process for determining project relevance, strategic importance, lead identification, blue sheet strategy and initial business plan approval are delivered.

Required Candidate profile

Experience: 5+ years experience in areas of research, preferably in a B2B environment

Experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery or Petrochemical industry is of advantage

Qualification: Degree-preferably business or economics or engineering + MBA in Mktg.
